In reality, Google has a largely white and Asian staff: Asians are far more represented than their demographics would suggest. In reality, Google has basically been hiring people who made the grades and got the diplomas to be hired at a high-tech firm.
What the politically correct left wants all companies to do is hire people of color regardless of whether they’re qualified or not … and unfortunately, not enough minorities and women are qualified.
As a business trying to make a profit, should Google simply hire people of color or gender to suit the current PC trend?
The editorial cartoon suggests white privilege, which is a polite way of saying “white supremacy.” If you believe in diversity as a reason to ignore merit, if you believe in affirmative action, then you are quietly acknowledging the idea of white supremacy being a fact.
Let’s treat everyone the same if we’re all equal. If we want an end to racism, stop the racist editorial cartoons and everything else.
