During the last election, Councilor Dean Brookie appeared to actually have some common sense; appearances are obviously deceiving. Councilor Christina Rinderle is naive enough to think she was re-elected due to her accomplishments. Her personality got her re-elected in spite of what she did in her last term, not because of what she did. I’m sure that Councilor Dick White is a good man but because all he was ever taught are factless theories, he is one reason that environmentalists are looked upon with disdain and disgust. Councilor Sweetie Marbury couldn’t care less if a bag ban could invite lawsuits against the city of Durango, as they have against many of the cities she uses as examples. She knows that the city’s taxpayers will fight the suits for her again!

Many of us still have hope because of Councilor Keith Brant; we need him to be the light at the end of this bungle. I hope he will let us know how to help him help us.
