Because I don’t know who did what, I’ll thank them all: Paramedic Dan Miller, Capt. Andy Miller, Clarke Brown, Dan Harshberger, Beau Reber and Paul Valdez. They each deserve to be acknowledged and applauded. Many deserve thanks who have been involved in Lee’s treatment and rehabilitation in the past four weeks, but without their care and expertise in handling his complex injuries, I might never have seen him alive.

Lee was transferred July 16 to Evenings Porch Assisted Living. In a few more weeks, thanks to those first responders and the grace of God, Lee should make a nearly full recovery.
