Rose has worked in commercial lending for 15 years and moved to Southwest Colorado in 2011 with his family.
Criteria for the award was established by the Region 9 Loan Committee, which has 12 members and evaluates the number of referrals, professionalism of the lender and community impact from assisting area businesses.
Previous recipients include Tom White, formerly of Bank of the San Juans.
