A fourth-generation Coloradan, McLachlan is in her fourth year representing six Southwest Colorado counties in the State House. She is chairwoman of the House Education Committee and also sits on the Rural Affairs and Agriculture Committee, the interim Water Resources Committee, the Colorado Tourism Board and the Colorado Highways and Byways Commission.

McLachlan will discuss what the new budget could include, and not include, for new fiscal future.
