The nonprofit will distribute free mini cookies to kids and sell its signature cookie. Information will be available about Manna’s Take-Home Backpack Program.
To help feed children in need outside of Manna’s normal operating hours, the weekly Take-Home Backpack Program for Durango School District 9-R students and the Southern Ute Boys & Girls Club was established in 2010. Volunteers assemble food bags that consist of seven meals for the weekend.
