The nonprofit applied for the grant through the U.S. Department of Agriculture on behalf of Colorado Quinoa.
With the grant funding, Colorado Quinoa plans to hire seven full-time employees, increase processing capacity safely and efficiently, expand online sales and research sustainable and efficient agricultural practices.
