With the help of Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado’s Outdoor Stewardship Institute, the program will introduce trail crew leadership and the fundamentals of successful volunteer crew management.
The training is for people with all levels of trail experience, from beginners to longtime volunteers. Participants will learn and practice construction and maintenance of sustainable trails, leadership strategies and techniques, tool use and safety.
Qualified crew leaders may be hired to assist on trail-work projects for the upcoming season.
Space is limited, and classes fill quickly. Register by April 5.
