About 50 people gathered Monday in Durango outside Sen. Cory Gardner’s office to protest the Republican tax bill. Darren White, director of La Plata County Thrive! Living Wage Coalition, which helped organize the protest, said the tax bill would take money out of the pockets of middle class Americans and give it to the top one percent.
