The newest offering, “No Turning Back,” celebrates the history and culture of the pursuit of powder by highlighting the old and the new – ski pioneers, new-school athletes, big-mountain legends (like Ingrid Backstrom, seen here) and the best ski terrain on Earth. Durango Winter Sports Foundation is hosting a screening of “No Turning Back” at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave. The event will feature food, drinks and a good cause – proceeds benefit the training and coaching of young ski athletes. Tickets are $12, and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
