Warren Miller Entertainment has been churning out ski films for an astounding 65 years. The newest offering, “No Turning Back,” celebrates the history and culture of the pursuit of powder by highlighting the old and the new – ski pioneers, new-school athletes, big-mountain legends (like Ingrid Backstrom, seen here) and the best ski terrain on Earth. Durango Winter Sports Foundation is hosting a screening of “No Turning Back” at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave. The event will feature food, drinks and a good cause – proceeds benefit the training and coaching of young ski athletes. Tickets are $12, and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
