Fortunately, God placed a group of hikers with dogs who just happened by and asked if I needed help. “Certainly,” I hollered back! After trying to figure out a way to reach me that did not rain rocks on me and, at the same time, did not endanger them, they made a human chain and tied the dog leashes together and threw it down to me.
A few steps and I was clear, but I am so grateful for these good Samaritans! As this is nearing the one-year anniversary, I would like to have a chance to express my gratitude to these wonderful people.
