A two-sided sign hangs Tuesday on the large cottonwood tree that people walk under on 32nd Street near East Third Avenue. The tree was scheduled to be cut down last week as part of the Animas River Trail underpass project, but after an outpouring of community support for the tree, the Parks and Recreation Department has decided to look at options before making a final decision.
