The event will feature the regional premiere of “A Time To Choose,” three locally-created film shorts, a celebratory climate march and the chance to take action. There will be free food, free beer and lots of birthday cake.
The event will be held from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Community Concert Hall. A pre-event march will start at 4 p.m. Participants should meet at Eighth Street and East Eighth Avenue.
Tickets are $12 in advance at the FLC Welcome Center or FLC Community Concert Hall and $15 at the door (children 12 and younger are free).
“A Time To Choose” is an award-winning documentary by academy-award winning producer George Ferguson that explores the comprehensive scope of the climate change crisis and examines the power of solutions already available.
