The mill levy is needed because of an increase in calls coupled with a decrease in revenue. The decrease in revenue is due in part to the Gallagher Amendment and the decrease in oil and gas revenues.
As our population increases, the Durango Fire Protection District will need additional staff and rolling stock to keep up with the demand.
Vote yes for Durango Fire.
