Competence matters. That seems like an obvious statement, but when you are talking about energy, it could not be truer. Competence is what is needed going forward so LPEA makes thoughtful energy procurement and infrastructure decisions.
Dave Luschen has 26 years of utility experience at the nation’s largest municipally owned gas and electric utility, focusing on distribution, substations and energy transmission. He is an advocate for workers and the epitome of calm, thoughtful leadership. His opponent is a conspiracy hunter who likes “gotcha” statements without basis. Please reelect the man with experience.
Jenn Jenkins has 20 years of utility experience, with a strong focus on wind energy. As LPEA makes energy procurement plans, a wind energy expert is vital. Her opponent is a nice person with no utility experience. Please vote for the woman with experience.
Competence matters. Competence is what makes the difference between skyrocketing energy costs around the country and LPEA being able to maintain a steady rate by gaining independence from Tri-State energy hikes. There is a steep learning curve in the energy sector – now is not the time to bring in novices.
Please vote for experience and competence. Vote for Dave Luschen and Jenn Jenkins.
