Then I read about the stopping of grazing on public land. Farmers and their families have been doing this for more than 100 years to earn a living. Yet, people want to close it off because it may affect the wildlife, and you might step in excrement, and shut down the life of the hardest-working people we have in this country.
Here is an idea: Why don’t we stop all developers and urban sprawl that has taken all the good farm land to build houses to support this massive population, not to mention the tens of millions of illegal immigrants who do not help with this urban sprawl. From now on, you can no longer go outside the city limits to build, you can only go up, oh, wait that will block the beautiful views. I guess we just cannot please everyone, so I think I will side with the farmer because I know I will eat well because of them.
As for Mike McLachlan, how anyone can support what that man did down in Ignacio during the parade, which is just as arrogant, selfish and ignorant. I have more respect for the father and the law-enforcement officer who tried to help. Not so long ago in our history, if a man did that in front of another man’s family, he would have been run out of town and office, but what can I expect with everything going on these days, where lies and arrogance rule, and the truth and morals be damned. God help us all, for idiots are growing in larger numbers.
