Los Angeles band Dustbowl Revival packs the stage with an assortment of instruments and a free-roaming style that digs deep into the history of America’s roots music. Armed with trumpets and washboards, mandolins, tubas drums and a kazoo or two, the band unspools a sound that touches on pre-war blues, New Orleans swing and spirit-raising gospels. The band will perform a concert at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Henry Strater Theatre, 699 Main Ave. Visit www.henrystraterthetre for tickets or more information.
