Keegan Swirbul sprinted to victory in the men’s professional division in the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic Coca-Cola Road Race on Saturday.
Five-time champion Ned Overend finished third, the 13th top-three finish for the 59-year-old cycling legend.
On the women’s side, Mara Abbott won her fifth title. Samantha Lunsky was second.
About 7 minutes from the finish line in the 47-mile men’s race, Ryan Standish, Keegan Swirbul and Ben Sonntag were among the front-runners.
Swirbul and Ned Overend were among the top riders coming down the final descent into Silverton.
