I left this first encounter very impressed with this young man who had taken the time to listen intently to my opinions without arguing or trying to change my mind. Matt is a very concerned and caring person who wants to do what is right for the people he represents, and that is what he did as mayor for Bayfield.
I know that he will bring the same kind of dedication to the job of La Plata County commissioner, and that he truly is someone who will represent the people he serves.
In this time of political divisiveness, Matt will be a breath of fresh air, someone who is more interested in getting results for the people he represents than any political agenda. Elect Matt and you will get someone who will work for everyone!
