Michael Martin Murphey entertains the crowd Friday evening during the La Plata County Fair concert in the Fred W. Klatt III Arena as the Rio Grande band, Carin Mari, Gary Roller and Paul Piper on drums back him up. Murphey sang some of his top hits including "Wildfire“ during the 90-minute show. Local musician Tyller Gummersall opened for Murphey, playing some of his original songs and getting people out of their seats dancing during his performance. (Jerry McBride/Durango Herald)
