SGM, a multidisciplinary engineering, consulting and surveying firm headquartered in Glenwood Springs, with additional offices in Meeker, Gunnison, Grand Junction, Salida, Durango and Aspen, awards scholarships to assist aspiring civil engineers and surveyors in pursuit of their studies. The Steve Westhoff Scholarship honors Steve Westhoff, an SGM field engineer whose integrity, humor and technical knowledge inspired SGM and many clients.

SGM announces the five Steve Westhoff Scholarship recipients. This year, SGM received 14 applications from across Western Colorado. Each recipient, who demonstrated outstanding potential in their respective fields, will receive $2,000 to support their academic journey.
