Chimney Rock National Monument, 30841 Colorado Highway 151 in Pagosa Springs, opens its 2026 season on Friday. The monument is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. seven days a week through the season with access to the upper mesa closing at 3:15 p.m. daily.

Check in with the outdoor information booth to register your vehicle.

Entrance fees are $20 per vehicle and $10 per motorcycle. Entry is free for visitors with a valid America the Beautiful Pass, which can be purchased online or at National Parks and Monuments, including Chimney Rock National Monument. Passes are no longer sold at San Juan National Forest offices.
