People should gather at 10:30 a.m. at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad depot, 479 Main Ave. The march to Buckley Park, 1200 Main Ave., will begin at 11 a.m. A rally at the park will be held from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
Speakers at the rally will include: Katie Young, Planned Parenthood community organizer; Ret. Navy Capt. Gail Harris; April Yazza, Ms. Hozhoni 2018-19; state Rep. Barbara McLachlan, D-Durango; and Katie Kandarian-Morris, minister at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Durango. The emcee will be Allie Wolfe, activist, comedian and Fort Lewis College student.
The event is free and open to the public, including men. Marchers are encouraged to take their own sign with messages related to the theme.
