The event will feature select artist representations of wolves, artwork by Kelly Black, music by Chuck Blaser and wine samples. Artwork that will be included in the refuge’s sixth annual art auction, scheduled for Sept. 23 at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad depot, will be on display at the winery starting Thursday, Sept. 7.
Attendees can donate $20 for a chance to win an original wolf painting by Black.
Proceeds will help sustain the refuge during the winter.
Ambassador wolves will make appearances at both events in September.
