If you’ve ever been in a play and had to deliver lines you memorized and rehearsed a thousand times, you know how unsettling – and perhaps even frightening – that can be.

Now, imagine baring your soul to an audience, sharing authentic life experiences in an 8- to 10-minute story based on a specific theme.

That’s exactly what’s going to happen this weekend when The Raven Narratives is once again put on in Durango, this time with the theme “Baggage.”

Storytellers this time around will be: Chris Blankenship, Maddy Butcher, Jane Dally, Tom Yoder, McCarson Jones, Katie Burford, David Holub and Dan Jenkins.

The Raven Narratives will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Durango Arts Center, 802 East Second Ave. Tickets are $15/$12. Prices at the door increase by $5. Purchase your tickets online at http://durangoarts.tix.com. Early ticket purchase is suggested because this event has sold out before.
