Hudson wasn’t alone, either. Seven people went 13-for-13 in the Week 8 Green, including the Week 7 winner, Dan Rose.

For Rose, that’s quite the NFL fortnight – 26 out of his last 28 picks have bloomed to victory.

For Hudson, however, his Week 8 was a flower of a different color. He’s only had one double-digit week, and that was a 10-spot in Week 4.

The Tucson, Ariz., resident hung his hat on a Packers’ 37-23 tiebreaker; the Packers won 44-31, so Hudson hawked the weekly victory to be the last man standing.

I thought I had a good week at 11-2, but that didn’t even put me at 1st and goal. Instead, I ran my modest overall total to 71 points, tied with “jwilson” as the lowest among the weekly winners and one point ahead of Hudson.
