Trail work will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 16. Volunteers will meet at the Phil’s World main parking lot off of U.S. Highway 160. They should wear work clothes and sturdy shoes and bring gloves, a day pack with snacks and water, and a hat and sunscreen.
Tools will be provided. This is a moderate to difficult project. Lunch will be provided to registered volunteers. Kids are welcome at lunch. Dogs should be left at home.
National Trails Day features a series of outdoor activities, designed to promote and celebrate the importance of trails in the United States.
