The Local Licensing Authority meets monthly to review and approve new liquor or medical marijuana license applications, which includes changes in location of licensed premise and hearing cases against the licensee.

The authority grants or refuses licenses and special event permits for the sale of alcoholic beverages, designates and assesses fees, applies rules and regulations provided by law, conducts investigations as may be required by law and suspends or revokes licenses.
