Applications for the giveaway can be picked up from: Bo Dean’s Towing, 20909 U.S. Highway 160; Durango Muffler and Brake, 1502 Main Ave.; Durango Elks Lodge, 901 East Second Ave.; Veterans of Foreign Wars, 1550 Main Ave.; and the American Legion, 878 East Second Ave.
Completed applications must be returned to Durango Elks Lodge by June 3, and the giveaway will be held noon to 4 p.m. June 10 at the Elks Lodge picnic grounds.
The event is open to the public and will feature a fish dinner. Admission is free for veterans, $10 for nonveterans and $5 for kids 12 and younger.
