What will this truly achieve? It will achieve more crime, more victims of the criminals who have guns illegally, law-abiding responsible gun owners becoming defenseless and fill up more of our prisons for having firearms. California has one of the highest crime rates in the United States, and it has some of the most strict gun laws in the United States.

It is our right to bear arms for many reasons. For one, I can protect myself how I feel fit. Second, to protect ourselves from foreign and domestic threats – even our own government, if necessary – and many other reasons.
