However, since electricity is fungible and all those pesky electrons run around in the same wires, no matter their source, I’m a little confused how one can claim electricity from only renewable sources is being used. No matter. Now Dick White and others can feel like they’ve done something about something.

What? You might ask. The reason lies in the foolishness of man-caused, carbon dioxide-driven, global climate change. White is a believer. I’ve heard him say the science is settled, the argument is over, and if we don’t do something about CO2 discharges, Earth will be destroyed. Balderdash. Hogwash. Bunk and baloney. He also claims there is a consensus. A consensus is a collection of opinions. It is certainly not science. The so-called science that he and his fellow-traveler at LPEA, Jeff Berman, cite is a collection of computer models that attempt to predict the state of the climate based on all kinds of inputs and assumptions. And those models aren’t even close to the reality of the last few years. There has been no warming for 17 years – despite continuing increases in atmospheric CO2.

Fortunately, we have had an LPEA board that has put the constraints on Berman. He claims a résumé as a businessman, but he is a failed businessman, having gone bankrupt in his bio-diesel business. Compare his résumé to that of Bill Waters, who is opposing him, and I think you’ll vote, like me, for Waters. It’s time for Berman – the socialist, obstructionist – to go.
