When it comes to Week 5 of the Gridiron Green, they lied.

Waylon Foreman of Farmington beat out an octet of pickers with 14-of-15 right around last week’s NFL slate of games. Based on the strength of his New England Patriots’ 35-14 tiebreaker, Foreman wins the weekly Green’s green. (New England beat Cincinnati 43-17 on Sunday night football.)

There were 25 pickers at 13, 123 at 12, 46 at 11 and 43 at 10.

The Gridiron Guru checked in at 11-4 in Week 5 and is 46-29 overall.

Aaron Archuleta, our Week 2 winner from Durango, is tied with “paulj” out of Somewhere, New Mexico, with 54 total points atop our tight overall leaderboard.
