Somehow in the utter chaos of Week 15 in the National Football League, the Bayfield resident with the “master” handle as his Gridiron Green alias scored a 12 in an impossibly frustrating week for prognostication.
Stuever tied “josie” with the only 12s atop the leaderboard, but Stuever’s 24-21 pick of Pittsburgh over Cincinnati – Pittsburgh won 30-20 – broke the tie and tilted the week toward The Master.
The rest of the Green was scattered with a Who’s Who of Green Champions in our dubious 4th and Long designation.
The Gridiron Guru finished safely in a large pack of nines to run his season total to 132-89, a long 18 picks behind the Gridiron Green season leaders – “commute29” and “baylsc” – who share the lead with 150 points, one point better than a trio of chasers with one week to play.

Denver at Houston (KCNC, KREZ; KRSJ 100.5 FM) – The poor Texans. They have to go back to Matt Schaub. Pick: Broncos, 35-17. Line: Broncos by 10½.
Miami at Buffalo – The Dolphins have everything to play for. The Bills have nothing. Pick: Dolphins, 20-16. Line: Dolphins by 2½.
New Orleans at Carolina – The road is a dangerous place for the Saints. Panthers need a win. Pick: Panthers, 27-22. Line: Panthers by 3.
Dallas at Washington (KASA) – No confidence in Tony Romo or the Cowboys this late in the season. Pick: Redskins, 33-31. Line: Cowboys by 3.
Cleveland at N.Y. Jets – Neither team thrills me, but I like the Browns’ defense against the Jets’ offense. Pick: Browns, 20-13. Line: Jets by 2½.
Minnesota at Cincinnati – If they want to be a playoff team of any note, the Bengals will blow out Minnesota. Pick: Bengals, 26-13. Line: Bengals by 7.
Tennessee at Jacksonville – The Jaguars suddenly are resurgent. Pick: Jaguars, 21-10. Line: Titans by 5½.
Arizona at Seattle – No one wins in Seattle but the ’Hawks. Pick: Seahawks, 23-17. Line: Seahawks by 10½.
N.Y. Giants at Detroit – Lions need this one. They’ll get it. Pick: Lions, 24-17. Line: Lions by 9.
Oakland at San Diego – Chargers are well-rested and coming off a big win in Denver. Pick: Chargers, 37-13. Line: Chargers by 10.
Pittsburgh at Green Bay – Rumors of Aaron Rodgers’ return buoy the Packers. Pick: Packers, 27-21. Line: Off.
New England at Baltimore (KCNC, KREZ) – Who is Tom Brady throwing to now? Pick: Baltimore, 22-20. Line: Ravens by 2½.
