Galloping Goose No. 5 from Dolores arrived in Durango on Wednesday, thanks to a lift from Cortez construction firm Skanska. It began running passengers to Cascade Canyon on Wednesday, said motorman Louie Vallejos of Cortez. The Goose is making it’s annual appearance for the 2013 True West Railfest and will make runs to various destinations.
