But Ben and Erin Bledsoe will always be happy when they think of taxes and 2016.

Ben Bledsoe was one of the winners in H&R Block’s “1,000 people a day win $1,000 for 30 days” promotion.

The couple picked up their check on Tuesday, and their smiles were matched by those of Durango H&R Block franchise owners Bard and Bobbi Heroy.

Ben Bledsoe is the Heroys’ second winner in the promotion. They also own an H&R Block franchise in Taos, New Mexico, where a client won $1,000 earlier in January.
