The free lecture will draw from Katherine Burgess’ experiences in the area, and explore the historical, political, ethnic, and linguistic “fault lines” between separate peoples of the region.
Burgess, the owner of CTC Voyages in Durango, formerly worked for the Agency for International Development and lived in several countries while her husband served in the Foreign Service.
