They are your friends and neighbors in Forest Lakes, Dove Ranch, Mill Street/Downtown, Mesa Meadows, Clover Meadows, Bayfield Middle School area, and all the county roads, (just to name a few.)
Did you know registered Democrats now outnumber Republicans in the County? Thanks to the Independants that had to change their affiliation to vote in THIS caucus. Bernie created that excitement, and now comes the moment to make a difference. Tuesday March 1, is the Colorado Democratic Caucus.
Bernie volunteers have worked really hard to get the message out. They have gathered names of supporters, cooked for potlucks, opened their homes, and hosted many debate parties, training classes, canvassing, phone banking, and we created a Bernie Sanders Light Brigade for the Snowdown parade. Whew, there is so much more to do, and we need you .
This is a revolution. We can’t afford to settle for the same way of governing, we need a different direction. Bernie wants healthcare for all, not health insurance with companies that have to make a profit on your illness. Bernie wants free college education for our kids and grandkids. He will pay for this by taxing the Wall Street bankers, that our tax money bailed out. It’s time to collect that debt, and pass it on to our children, our future, and their future. Bernie wants good jobs, building our American roads, bridges, water lines, airports, train lines, and so many other things that have been neglected for far too long. Bernie wants to bring the offshore money back and stop the loopholes that allows trillions of dollars to be held out of our system.
Bernie wants fair gun laws, reasonable protections for all of us. Bernie wants a woman to have the first, last, and ultimate decisions about her own body. Bernie cares about this country and he genuinely cares about all of us. If you feel the same, come join the revolution.
