This as opposed to the Democratic Party led by Obama who has spent well over $150 billion on solar and bird-killing wind energy with no noticeable gain. Of course, much of that money was a slush fund to pay back campaign financiers. Renewable energy represents approximately 11 percent of the country’s electrical power, with all but a sliver of that being hydroelectric, which of course green tyrants want to eliminate. Natural gas, the cleanest of fossil fuels, has done more to reduce emissions then all of the 125-year-old technologies of wind and solar power combined, because the two latter are unreliable and produce such small amounts of the electricity required.

It would be nice if we had a county commissioner who would wake up to this fact instead of writing a fear mongering op-ed with the idea of controlling and limiting the natural gas production in the county (roughly a year ago). Remember this when she wants to raise our property taxes.

Though I do like her campaign slogan “Go Gwen.” Please do so, just go (away) Gwen.
