Stocking Colorado cutthroat trout

East Fork Hermosa Creek was confirmed to have no brook trout in a section north of Durango, which has allowed wildlife officials to stock it with native Colorado cutthroat trout. When all is said and done, the upper reaches of Hermosa Creek, north of Durango, will have the largest continuous stretch of native Colorado cutthroat trout in the state.
