Konikowski and Weisfeldt will drive to Pueblo on Thursday for the state tournament Thursday through Saturday at Pueblo City Park, which prompted Weisfeldt to joke the coach and the player need “a motorcycle and a sidecar” for their journey. Konikowski, a sophomore, will play Noah Forman Jr. of Colorado Academy in the first round.
