While some ice skaters clamor for their winter sports, Chapman Hill is sending out a reminder that it’s still the summer season.
Chapman Hill public roller skating sessions will begin Monday. The sessions will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.
The cost is $4 for admission and $2 for skate rentals.

If you missed early bird, DEVO still has options
Durango DEVO, the local youth development mountain bike program, still is accepting fall registration for the following groups:
Push Bike No. 2: 4-5 p.m. Thursdays.
Preschool: 10-11:15 am.. Tuesdays (with or without training wheels).
Kindergarten: 2-3:30 p.m. Mondays; 4-5:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
1st Grade: 2-4 p.m. Mondays; 4-6 p.m. Fridays.
3rd-5th Grades: 4-6 p.m. Mondays.
The beginner/intermediate groups for this age group quickly sold out, so Durango DEVO organizers added this category; any third- and fifth-graders already registered that rather would ride in the beginner/intermediate category, email [email protected].
Advanced Co-ed 4th-5th Grade: 4-6 p.m. Thursdays.
Intermediate/Advanced Girls: 4-6 p.m. Wednesdays.
Explorers Beginner/Intermediate: 4:15-6:15 p.m. Tuesdays.
Explorers Advanced: 4:15-6:15 p.m. Wednesdays.
Roadrunners: 4:15-6:15 p.m. Thursdays.
Women on Wheels: 4:15-6:15 p.m. Wednesdays.
The Durango DEVO season will begin Sept. 2.
