Heart Safe La Plata offers CPR and first aid classes

3-6 p.m. Wednesday: Basic first aid.6-10 p.m. Wednesday: Adult/child/infant CPR.6-10 p.m. Jan, 15: Adult/child/infant CPR and CPR for health care professionals.All community classes are held at the Durango Fire & Rescue Station 1, 142 Sheppard Drive.

Fees are $55 for basic first aid and $65 for CPR, or $85 for the combination basic first aid and CPR. Groups of 10 or more may schedule private classes.
