Tamino Kroeger and Fort Lewis College have back-to-back victories at home, haven’t lost this season and have a win against a top-25 opponent in their season opener. On Tuesday, the Skyhawks cracked the National Soccer Coaches Association of America top 25 in Week 3 at No. 22 overall. On Wednesday, FLC (3-0-1) will host Adams State at 3:30 p.m. at Dirks Field in its Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference opener. The FLC women’s soccer side, which also received votes in last week’s NSCAA rankings but – like the men’s side – finished just outside the top 25, carried their 4-0 record all the way to seventh overall. Caitlyn Espinosa, the Skyhawks’ goalie, earned her fourth consecutive shutout to start the season and was named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
