Snow forced Chadron State to move its homecoming game with Adams State back a day to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, while the game between Western State and Black Hills State in Spearfish, S.D. has been postponed indefinitely.

Colorado Mesa 22, N.M. Highlands 17

LAS VEGAS, N.M. – A late goal-line stand helped Colorado Mesa hold off New Mexico Highlands on Saturday.

The Cowboys (2-3, 1-2 RMAC) accrued 621 yards of offense but were stuffed for the final time when the Mavericks stopped Brandon Johnson on fourth down on their own 3-yard line.

Jake Cimolino led Colorado Mesa (3-2, 2-1 RMAC) with 79 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Western N.M. 25, Colorado Mines 22

SILVER CITY, N.M. – A late rally couldn’t keep Colorado Mines from an upset at the hands of Western New Mexico.

Mitch Glasmann threw for 334 yards to lead the Mustangs (1-3, 1-2 RMAC).

Durango High School alumnus Avery Llewellyn kicked two field goals for Mines (3-2, 2-1 RMAC).
