So, I encourage you to find out more about my dad and make an informed decision based on information about a real member of this community and the real issues facing La Plata County, not partisan rhetorical sound bites from people who do not have anything substantial to contribute. This election is about the future of the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office and nothing more. My dad has worked there for many years and has a great amount of experience and insight. I think the best compliment a candidate could receive would be that of a positive one from their child. If a 20-year-old can say that you successfully instilled them with the guidance and support they needed to be successful and to make wise decisions, you probably know a thing or two about leadership. He would make a great leader and would go above and beyond to serve all of the residents of La Plata County.
