No firm date has been set because conditions have to be just right, Fire Marshal Karola Hanks said Monday. But it will be in the next few weeks, she said.
“It’s one pile, but it’s a big pile,“ Hanks said. “We need weather conditions that will allow the smoke to go straight up and not into the neighborhoods.”
The burn will take place between fairways.
Only one day will be required for the operation, she said.
