Two days after officially being awarded a win for last week’s season opener at New Mexico Highlands, the Fort Lewis College football team is ready for the home opener at noon Saturday against Dixie State University. It’s a new team in a new era under first-year head coach Brandon Crosby, and the team will look to get its offense going to match its potent defensive capability. With every offensive score, expect to hear cannon fire in ring out in Durango.
