The first nature walks on June 25 and 27 will start at 10:45 a.m. and will not include the chairlift ride. Regular tours with the chair ride will take place from 9:45 a.m. to noon every Tuesday and Thursday at Purgatory Resort starting July 2 and continuing through Aug. 15.

No registration is required. Meet at the ticket office ready to explore nature in any kind of weather. A scenic chairlift ride will be included, weather permitting. Tours are led by volunteers of San Juan Mountains Association in partnership with San Juan National Forest. Nature walks are free with a suggested donation of $10.
