The Shootings Stars basketball team played in a tournament in Colorado Springs July 11-13.  The girls took fifth place overall and first place in the consolation bracket.  They would like to thank the Southern Ute Tribe, Subway of Durango and the Ignacio and Bayfield communities for all of their support this summer with donations and fund raisers.  Keep an eye out for these girls who will  always be 'Shooting for the Stars.'  Pictured with  Coach Adam Tucson are Monika Lucero, Shelci Gosney, Aubree Farmer, Makayla Herrera, Marisa Carmenoros, Laci Brunson, Ebonee Gomez, Jayden Brunson, Charlize Valdez and Avaleena Nanaeto.  Emmilia Price also plays on the team.
