Disgusting: About the only thing you can say about putting biking, walking, kayaking, playing and most especially eating in the park areas next to a sewage treatment plant. These multiple uses – recreation activities and sewage treatment are inherently incompatible. One or the other must be relocated.

Financial: Voters are being asked to authorize spending in the amount of $68 million including what amounts to an outrageous contingency. This clearly communicates haste and lack of due diligence in decision-making and that alone deserves a “no” vote. The whole process sounds like another “road to nowhere” when one cannot begin with the end clearly in sight.
